I had a awesome day at the Christmas party yesterday I was Mrs Claus there was a circus performance and a DJ spin also we had a nice Xmas lunch it was a good day

Picnic at The Mount

 I had an amazing day today - I had a picnic at The Mount, went down to the beach via the wheelchair mat, and I also went on the wheelchair swing!

Girl's day

 Today  we are having a special girls day - music, Nails, hair and baking!

Its starting to feel alot like christmas

 Today we put the Christmas tree up! It now officially fee,s like Christmas. Doesn't it look beautiful?!

Relaxing

 This afternoon I got to enjoy a lovely massage in the massage chair. It was so relaxing. I had a big smile on my face. 

Christmas Magic Makers

 I had an amazing time at the Christmas Magic Makers shop in Te Puke. I loved all the lights and Christmas songs and sounds!

Floristry

 I love getting to strip the leaves off the flowers for the posies we make at work, today i got to wear a flower in my hair as well! i enjoyed "jamming" to music in the background. 

Musical Monday

Creative!

 Today I made a Christmas decoration out of air dry clay. I will be painting it next week once it is dry. I also made something for my IPP board.

Te Puna Quarry

 I enjoyed a lovely trip to Te Puna Quarry with my friends!

Relaxing

 This afternoon in girls group j enjoyed using the back massager. It was very relaxing i had big smiles on my face. 

The glow show

 Today I enjoyed going to bay court to watch ‘the glow show’. I loved watching the large glow in the dark puppets.

Insect 🐞 masks

 I enjoyed playing on the Countdown insect app. Look at me!

Latin dance!

  Today we were very lucky to have some Latin dance experts come to show us a variation of different dances. It was so fun!

Watering plants

 Today I am busy helping to water the indoor plants. I am a great helper!

Girls group

 This afternoon I got my hair blow dried which I rea,lying enjoyed. I then finished watching the movie greese we started last week. 

Ice cream

  What a beautiful day today. I got to enjoy a yummy ice cream this afternoon.

Cafe trip

 I had lots of fun on the girls cafe trip this morning- particularly my chocolate milk

Flowers for hospice

 Today I am helping to make posies for the Hospice. They smell beautiful. 

Pass the Parcel

 Yesterday I played pass the parcel for Alissas birthday. I ripped off a layer of paper an won a bag of tiny teddies. 

Parkour!

 I am busy pretending that I am doing Parkour in my sensory session. Jumping over railings, running on top of roofs and jumping off high bridges!

Muppets in music

 I’ve really enjoyed shaking to ‘the Muppets’ in music! 

Different Textures

I enjoyed experiencing different textures today during sensory. I liked the little feathers - they tickled me!

BBQ

 I loved being out in the lovely sun 🌞 with my friends at our BBQ!

Plummers point

I had a blast on the Plummers Point trip. Even though the rain cut it short, we still managed to have a picnic lunch next to the Marae and collected heaps of oranges, grapefruit and tangelos which we turned into juice.

Trying the new eye massager

 This afternoon in girls group I tried out the new eye massager. I liked it for a minute or so but think I need to get use to it. I did enjoy using the back massager afterwards.

 i have been having cool art sessions using some paint to make a unique picture for my room.

 This afternoon I had girls group, I enjoyed a lovely back massage while listening to some music. I had a great afternoon with the girls ❤️

Enjoying the garden

This morning I enjoyed being out in the garden soaking up the little bit of sun that was out. 

Unlocked party

Today we had a unlock party here at arohanui. we played pin the mask on the sleeping man, bean bag throw, "beer pong", and the cookie game with deliscious oreos. What a great day!

Gardening

This morning in gardening we transferred some clipping into some potting mix. I can’t wait to watch them grow bigger.
