Tea party

What an awesome time the girls had yesterday hosting a nutrimetics makeup tea party. We got to have a hand scrub and massage!and also enjoyed some pink cupcakes and ice tea.

I have finally finished my personal book for the year can't wait ti share it with my family!

Foot spa

Last week in girls group I had a foot spa and a lovely foot massage.

Circus time

Today for music we had a circus theme music session there was lots of tricks happening! We even had fire poi!

Happy birthday to me!

Yesterday was my birthday I got very spoilt I had party food and a ice cream cake. I enjoyed spending my birthday at Arohanui with my friends.

I had a relaxing Friday afternoon music session playing all sorts  of instruments.

Out to a show

Today I got out and about to watch the drama production marry popins I sung along to all the songs.

Karaoke

Guess what we got a karaoke machine at Arohanui I have enjoyed listening to everyone sing songs.

Out and about

I'm really enjoying the sunshine the last couple of days I have been out to bay city music and out to town a couple of times looking foward to more fine weather so I can get out and about.

Yesterday in music I got to try out some new musical instruments some even came all the way from Bali! :)

Yesterday in girls group I got to try an avocado facial.

Hand scrubs

At girls group we made a natural hand scrub out of sugar, oil, lemon juice and lemon zest. It smelt amazing! I got pampered and had a nice long hand scrub massage. I absolutely loved it and my hands felt so nice! I had a big smile on my face as you can see in the photos.

Here is my latest creation! I sponge painted onto a canvas,added a paper doile and then stuck on some colourful flowers....pretty!!

Glad to be back

I'm glad to be back with all my friends after having a week at home.

Indoors!!

What a wet week it's been! I've enjoyed staying indoors in the warm doing some exciting activies. Looking foward to girls group this afternoon :)

Henry

Last week I got to meet petes dog Henry he felt very soft and cuddly.

Pottery

Look at me,busy in the pottery making our latest project...coil pots !! It's great fun rolling the clay and building the pot.....come and see them in The NextDoor Gallery at Arohanui soon !

Mosaics

I have been working really hard in mosaics and have tiled a mirror. We are now at the grouting stage and I cannot wait to see it in the gallery once it is all polished and pretty. I am so proud of how it is coming together.

I'm really excited the the next door gallery is open! I cant wait to sell some of my art work and create some more exciting master pieces to sell!

Music time!

This week we had clients from both The Wilrose centre and Te Puke join us for our Friday music session. I really love doing the shaker in time to the music. 

Pretty plates!

I am having lots of fun in pottery with the rolling pin I've be practising rolling some clay and then pressing in macramé to make a pattern. We have made pretty dishes.

Super happy

I have been super happy all this week at Arohanui smiles and goggles all day long! :)

Art

In my art session we are making paper mâché frames.We will put mirrors in the frames and paint them.I love tearing up the paper !

Cooking

I am enjoying experimenting with different breakfast ideas in cooking :) 

Great to be back!

It's great to be back at Arohanui with all my friends and back to having my weekly massage I couldn't stop giggling all day big smiles for everyone:)
