Secret Santa came to Greerton

Today we had secret Santa come and give us all presents it was really good😊

Rodger dressed as Santa and helped pass out the prezzies 🎁 We all had lots of laughter and smiles from all! Thanks to everyone it was great.

Retro Party

I had a great time at the end of year party dancing the night away with my Arohanui friends. The food was good . My mum and I dressed in identical pink jackets! I had a blast! The staff at Arohanui did our hair and makeup that afternoon so I was already to party, party, PARTY!

PICNIC @ YATTON PARK

We had a great day at the park doing a scavenger hut and cooking sausages, lemonade in the shade!!

Chickens

We put our chickens outside in the coop for the first time, they liked been in the fresh air.

Historic village

I went with my friends to the historic village. We walked around the streets and looked at all the cool buildings. I was enjoying the sunshine and walk.

girls group

For girls group on Thursday we went to my house for afternoon tea. we all had such a nice time, we had chocolate milk and lemonade to drink and lots of yummy treats to eat. It was nice to show my friends my room and get a photo.

Happy birthday to me!

I had a lovely birthday with my friends at Arohanui. My Mum sent in this lovely cake for me to share.

Party

I enjoyed our costume party on Friday. I dressed up as an American Indian.

Ngaire brought in her drum kit and I really enjoyed playing the drums.

Cheese Ball

I enjoyed cooking with my friends today and making Cheese Ball. I loved the smell of the Gherkins and shaking the macaroni in the container.

I really like the piano app on the ipad.

Macaroni

I had fun today making macaroni with my friends. We put some macaroni in a container which I had fun shaking.

Cooking

Today I had fun playing with the milk bottle and using the wooden spoon to drum on the bowl while we were baking a cake.

Massage

I just love getting a head massage it makes me sleepy.

Pampering

I like being in girls group especially when my hair is brushed and my head is massaged .

Andre Rieu

I had a lovely time listening to Andre Rieu today in computers, I sang along and shared my lovely voice with my friends. 

Piano with Jordan

I had a lovely time in my music session playing piano with my friend Jordan. I had the high notes and she had the low notes. we made beautiful music together.

thunder maker

I had a play with a cool aboriginal musical instrument that makes sounds of thunder when you shake it. I was in the sensory room with my friends from Te Puke, what a cool music session!

Art

Today I used my star stencil to make a collage,I'm pretty good stamping with the sponge on a stick.

HIgh tea

Today in girls group we had a fun high tea with yummy scones and tea. I enjoyed the savouries, I loved the egg quiches.

I had a fun time in computers taking selfies with the photo booth app. Cool pictures aye! 

SoloMio

I had a lovely time in computers listening to Solo Mio and playing the grand piano on the iPad, my friend caries also loves opera so it's nice too share that with her as we giggle together. 

Mashing banana!

I helped my cooking buddies make a birthday cake today. I liked mashing the bananas and looking at the mixture.

I had a fun time in arts and crafts painting a polystyrene ball to turn it into my very own pink planet.

Guide dogs

We had a lovely visit from three ladies and the three cute puppies they were training to be guide dogs t help the blind.

One of my goals for the year is to try out different types of instruments. here I am playing a cool kind of wooden maraca. it makes a really cool clacking sound.

I enjoy spending time with my friends at Arohanui.

Drums

I had a great time in music. I was using the shaker then decided I wanted to have a go at banging on the drum! I was very clever at keeping with the best of the music. 

Black light disco

I had a lovely time at the black light disco

Pink ribbon

I had a lovely time at the pink ribbon breakfast! We had music, yummy food and raised money for a good cause. 

Rolling clay

I had a fun rolling and squishing coils of clay to add to a coil pot. I love pottery and love listening to Nora Jones while I play. 

A great week

I have had a really good week at the centre, I have had a French braid in girls group, a nice time in the sensory room listening to classic music and also had a fun party in music. I really liked playing the piano on the ipad too.

At the Beach

I had a lovely time walking along the boardwalk in front of mount maunganui beach. The sun was out and I enjoyed listening to the seagull the people and the waves crashing. I also loved feeling the sea breese through my hair.

Cooking

We made fruit kebabs in cooking and they were very tasy.

Bubbles........galore

I was at yatton park with all my Arohanui friends enjoying our picnic. There was a bubble machine going and I was right in amongst it enjoying every minute of it as you can tell by the picture I was very happy.....
