In cooking last week we made Xmas cookies they were so yummy :)

I have been super happy at Arohanui this week enjoying the Christmas sprit with all my friends :) off to have my massage now!

X factor finals

We had the Arohanui X Factor finals at Detour Theatre.  I played keyboards in the group called The Strummers.  We did a cover of Joe Cockers Have a Little Faith

Cooking lasagne

Had a great morning helping make some yummy lasagne in cooking!  It was lots of fun stirring all the ingredients together!  

Girls group

What a fun time we had in girls group yesterday I got my hair straightened and got to see all the other girls have there make up done I always love being pampered in girls group.

Cooking

We have been busy in cooking, we recently made tuna pasta bake, it looked delicious, I got to take some home to give it a taste test.

Painting

I really enjoyed my art session the other day I got to paint an M on a canvas it's very colourful.

Current events

This morning I had current events. I enjoyed listening to all the cool up and coming events in the community.

80's disco

We recently had a disco at Wilrose, it was an 80's theme. I had great fun dressing up. We did plenty of dancing!!! It was great fun.

Pottery

This morning I helped with a large coil pot.I used the wooden tool to blend the clay coils and make them smooth.We hope to put the pot in the new Wilrose Garden when it's finished!

Girls group afternoon tea

For girls group we put on a lunch fundraiser and raised enough money to go out for afternoon tea we had hot chocolate and orange and chocolate slice it was delicious I had chocolate all over my face :)

Personal books

This morning I enjoyed working on my personal book I enjoy talking about all the exciting things I have done this year and looking at all my photos :)

Computers

I had a great time in computers today, I listened to a talking story through the head phones, then listened to some of my favourite cd, a mixture of opera!!!

Pottery lanterns

Last week in pottery I rolled out some clay sussages as we were making lanterns I had so much fun doing this! I had clay all over me :)

Friday music

Every Friday I go to Wilrose centre for music I love playing the piano it's my favourite!!!

Hand therapy

What an awesome time I had in girls group last week I got to splash around in a tub of lovely warm water with bubbles I had so much fun bubbles and water went everywhere!!

Sensory

What an awesome time I had in the sensory room with the plasma ball lots of pretty colours!!

Breast cancer morning tea

Today we are having a pink morning tea for breast cancer! Everyone got a big surprise this morning when they took off my hat wow!

Music!

I really enjoyed Friday music especially playing on the key board that's my favourite part!!!

Pottery

This morning I made another pinch pot! The clay was cold ,soft and wet....I had fun pinching it into shape!!

Marshals animal farm

What an awesome day at marshals animal farm I really enjoyed lots of cuddles with the cute animals .

Our finished mosaic

My mosaic is finally finished, and it looks great. Jordan and I worked together to get it finished, and its know hanging up in the art room.

Doodle Art

Today I used a doodle art on the IPad. I enjoyed moving my finger around the screen and seeing the colours and lines I was making :-)

Using Driftwood

Today in Mosaics we used pieces of driftwood and glued them to a base to start a driftwood mirror. I enjoyed touching the pieces of wood :-)

Puzzle time

I love doing puzzles with my friends at Arohanui especially this one with the cats as I love animals:)

Cooking

I really enjoyed cooking fried rice in cooking on Monday the smells filling the room where amazing!

The opera

On Friday I got all dressed up and went out to the opera at holy trinity church in tauranga my favourite part was the piano solos we then enjoyed a lovely lunch and cup a tea in the sun can't wait for the next show!

Pottery

Look at the pretty pot I made and hand painted in pottery over the last couple of weeks I really like the feel of the clay in my hands, I enjoyed painting my pot pink today I also have a blue one. can't wait to finish them so I can take them home to show mum :)

Mosaics

Cooking

This week in cooking we made pikelets to take home. Mum said she enjoyed having one of the pikelets with her cup of coffee after work :-)

Art Time

Yesterday I spent a lot of time holding a felt and doing some hand over hand drawing. I must of really enjoyed it because I was laughing and singing while I drew :-)

Wedding Tea

The ladies from our centre went over to Wilrose and joined the ladies from there for morning tea. We were celebrating a staff members upcoming wedding and enjoyed a cuppa, sausage rolls and cake!

It really enjoyed an outting to the elms last week I really enjoyed meeting people from the olden days and the chapel was beautiful.

Awesome day out!!!

Yesterday I went to Rotorua to rainbow springs I had a lovely day the sun was shinning. I really enjoyed all the animals especially the bird show I even got front row seat!!
